On the practical plus side, I&#039;ve heard that the State of Alaska usually has quite a few openings for private pilots, with decent money, good hours, and good benefits.  Y&#039;know, if you ever decide you&#039;re living too far south :-)</description>

		<description>Glad to hear your house isn&#039;t *completely* dry! And I know just what you mean re: hassle of an activity vs. frequency. I tend to do things that are a PITA less than those that are easy, even if the PITA thing is more fun. If it&#039;s *way* more fun, though, that might be enough motivation. For example, it might be enough fun to take flight lessons that I&#039;ll actually save up $150 a crack, drive my large ass to Superior, and cram it into a tiny plane. We&#039;ll see...</description>
